Button labels and menu locations may vary slightly by platform and client version. Follow the VPNNJ client instructions in your dashboard and the options shown in your current app. Find the “Subscription” or “Import” option, then follow the relevant steps below.
Account

Create an account and open your dashboard

Start by selecting the account creation option in your dashboard. Enter a username and password, then follow the on-screen instructions. VPNNJ does not require an email address. Once your account is created, log in with the credentials you set. Make sure you can access the dashboard before comparing plans. Your orders, subscription, and client downloads will all be available there, so finding the right section now will save you from searching across pages later.

After logging in, take a look at the account overview and dashboard navigation. The overview shows your current subscription, the Plans section is where you choose a service, and Downloads provides VPNNJ clients and platform instructions. If there’s no subscription information yet, that’s expected at this stage—an empty subscription section doesn’t mean an import has failed. Next, go to Plans, choose an option that fits your usage, and place your order.

Your username and password are the credentials you’ll need to access the dashboard again, so keep them somewhere safe. If the username is unavailable or the passwords don’t match, make the requested changes and submit again. There’s no need to install a client to troubleshoot an input issue. You’ll need to be able to log in before placing an order and retrieving your subscription.

Plan

Choose a plan and place your order

Open the Plans section in your dashboard and decide whether a monthly plan or a data package better suits your usage. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they remain valid until used and never expire. Occasional and regular use may suit different billing options. Check how data is counted before comparing prices—it’s more helpful than looking at the amounts on the cards alone.

Once you’ve chosen an option, check the plan, price, and billing method shown in your dashboard, then follow the order page to complete payment. Accepted payment methods are Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT; available options may vary on the current order page. The plan cards are for comparing options, while the order page is where you confirm your choice. If you selected the wrong plan, go back and change it before proceeding.

After payment, return to your dashboard and check the order status and subscription details in your account overview. The order and subscription may take a page refresh to appear. If they’re not visible yet, refresh the page and check the order in your dashboard to avoid placing it again. VPNNJ offers a 60-day money-back guarantee. See the Terms of Service for details on how to request a refund. Once your subscription appears in your account, copy it and import it into your client.

Subscription

Get your subscription from the account overview

After logging in, open your account overview and find the subscription section for your current plan. Use the dashboard’s copy or import option. Your subscription lets the client retrieve the server configuration for your account; it isn’t a regular web address to open in a browser. Use the dashboard button to copy it rather than selecting the text manually, so you don’t miss any characters or include extra spaces.

Next, decide which device you want to use, then find the VPNNJ client for that platform in the Downloads section of your dashboard. The client download and subscription are two separate things: Downloads provides the app to open your subscription, while the account overview provides what to import. Get both from your dashboard. There’s no need to look for an installer on this guide page or send your subscription to another website for conversion. Your subscription is tied to your account, so keep it private, just like a password.

If the subscription isn’t shown in your account overview, return to the Orders section and check your selected plan and order status. Then make sure you’re logged in to the account you used to place the order. An empty overview in another account doesn’t mean there’s a problem with the client. Once the subscription option appears, follow the instructions for your platform below to install and import it. This makes it easier to identify whether an issue is with the order, subscription, or client.

Import the client setup for your platform

In the dashboard’s Downloads section, choose the platform you’re using and follow the instructions to get the VPNNJ client. Once it’s installed or open, look for an option such as “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or “Import,” then paste in the details from your account overview. You’ll usually need to update the configuration or choose a server after importing. Seeing servers in a list doesn’t mean you’re connected yet. The steps below explain where to find the relevant options on each device. You don’t need to place another order for each device.

Windows: Add a configuration in subscription settings

Open the Windows guide in the dashboard Downloads section to get the VPNNJ client and install it. In the client, look for the subscription list, configuration management, or an add option on the main screen. Depending on the version, it may be in the sidebar or a menu. Choose to import from a link or clipboard, paste the subscription details copied from your account overview, then save or update. Return to the server list and make sure the available locations and servers appear before connecting.

If the list is still empty after importing, check whether you updated it and confirm that you copied the subscription from the right account overview. Don’t use a sample address or configuration from another account as your VPNNJ subscription. Once the import is complete, choose a location based on what you want to access. For your first connection, check that you can connect and that the exit location matches your selection; there’s no need to change several advanced settings at once.

macOS: Find the configuration or subscription option

Select macOS in the dashboard Downloads section and follow the instructions to get and open the VPNNJ client. Subscription management is usually available in the main window, menu bar, or settings. The interface may vary, so look for an option to add a subscription or import a configuration, then paste the details from your account overview. Save them and refresh the list, then return to the main screen and choose a server.

If the client is open but no servers are visible, check whether you’ve added the subscription or simply haven’t updated the list since adding it. If it hasn’t been added, return to the import option. If it has, look for the configuration update action. Telling these two situations apart is more useful than reinstalling the app. Once the servers appear, connect and check your exit location in the next step.

Android: Update the server list after importing

Check the Android client and installation instructions in the dashboard Downloads section. Open the VPNNJ client and look for a subscription, configuration, or add button. If there are several import options, choose the one that matches the copy option in your dashboard, then paste and confirm your subscription details. Return to the server list and update it. Once the locations appear, choose a server and connect using the client’s connection control.

The first time you connect, your device may ask for permission to set up a network connection. Make sure the prompt is from the VPNNJ client you just opened, then confirm it in the system dialog. Permission, subscription import, and server selection are separate steps: granting permission without choosing a server doesn’t mean you’re connected. Check the connection status in the client, then verify the result on an IP lookup page.

iOS: Get and import a client using the dashboard instructions

Open the iOS guide in the dashboard Downloads section and follow its App Store link to get a compatible client. Open the app and look for an option to add a configuration or subscription, or import from the clipboard. Let the client process the subscription details copied from your account overview. After adding them, check that the list has updated and select a location. Don’t stop at the screen confirming that the subscription was saved.

When connecting for the first time, confirm the network configuration using the system prompt shown on your device, then return to the client and check that it says you’re connected. A system prompt doesn’t mean your exit location has changed; verify both the connection status and your actual exit location. If the options look different, follow the current platform instructions in the dashboard’s Downloads section rather than trying to match menu names from another platform.

Linux is also supported by VPNNJ. For platform-specific download and import instructions, see the Downloads section of your dashboard. This guide covers the basic setup process for the devices above. Verification

Connect to a server and check your exit location

Once the subscription appears in the list, choose a location based on what you need, then select a server in that location and connect. If you need to access a service in a specific location, choose that location rather than guessing from the server name. Once the client shows that you’re connected, open the site you want to use for a quick check. Then visit the What’s my IP? page to see whether your current exit IP and location match the selected server.

If the client says you’re connected but your exit location hasn’t changed, reload the lookup page and check which server is selected and what the client status shows. If several servers have similar names, verify again after switching; don’t rely on the previous lookup. For streaming services and international websites that depend on location, connecting the client is only the first step. The service’s account settings, regional content rules, and cached pages may also affect what you see.

VPNNJ offers 230+ routes across 120+ countries, giving you locations and route types to choose from based on your needs. You don’t have to test every route for everyday use: decide what you want to access, choose a location, then verify your exit. For details on IEPL private lines, relayed routes, and direct connections—and how to choose between them—see Global Server Network and the beginner-to-advanced guide. For now, focus on completing the connection steps.

Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot by step

Start troubleshooting with the step closest to the issue. If there’s no subscription option, check your account overview and order. If you’ve copied the subscription but no servers appear, check the import and update steps in the client. If the servers are listed but websites don’t behave as expected, check the client connection status and then your exit location. Separating these cases makes it easier to find the cause than changing your account, plan, and client all at once.

To use VPNNJ on another device, log in to the same account on that device, get the appropriate client from your dashboard, and import the account’s subscription. VPNNJ has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, but each device needs its own client setup. Before changing or renewing a plan, check your current plan and orders in the dashboard. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date. For mid-cycle upgrades, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. Don’t use an old server list in the client to infer your current plan status.

If you still can’t find the cause after checking your account, subscription, import, and connection in order, use the support ticket option in your dashboard. Include your platform, the step where the issue occurred, the status shown in the client, and what you’ve already tried. Describe what you see on screen; don’t post your full subscription details on a public page.
